Product Design

energy drink branding

Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

in quarter 1 of 2026, I was approached by ADVANCED GG partner Canadian_Dragon to design the entire branding kit for their latest sports drink supplement. This entailed designing the product label for the supplement powder, naming the drink, and finally, designing the unique engraving for the ice shaker to mix the powder formula.

The final piece of the puzzle was designing the laser engraving for the ice shaker itself. concepts were sketch until the final design came to fruition, delivered in vector format. A quick mockup of the engraving was then approved by ADVANCED for production.

A couple concept sketches later, the drink had found its identity. we wanted to focus on the theme of CD’s mascot(a dragon that is Canadian)so icons from Alberta were illustrated around the character, completing the design of the product label.

Pilot Badge MKII

Photoshop, Illustrator, Fusion, Carveco

As is tradition for pop culture conventions, attendees will wear name badges to identify themselves to other con goers. This usually amounts to a paper nametag with an avatar printed on top, but I sought to create a mixed media sculpture that could fill this void in a unique way. Enter; the Pilot Badge MKII. An upgraded version of a product I had concepted before, based on my love for aerospace aesthetics, now perfected thanks to months of research and CAD program studying.

Being an art student, I had no knowledge of operating engineering software or manipulating raw materials, but I knew where to get help. After 15 months of research and meeting with experts in fabrication and product design, I began making my first prototypes.

Every stage of the manufacturing process was done by myself in a 2 bedroom apartment. Yes, Every stage. I illustrated the artwork and designed the parts of each badge, built a CNC router enclosure on my porch, sourced the materials, fabricated every part, assembled and quality controlled the badges, and made custom packaging to then be shipped to their respective clients.

The pilot aesthetic was a hit, and even drew the attention of actual commercial and air force pilots!

Puperoid badge

Photoshop, Illustrator, Polariod Lab

Another unique mixed media convention name badge, this time, as a love letter to my fellow photographers in the fandom.

Digitally illustrated and developed onto actual Polaroid 600 instant film, then protected in a plastic sleeve for displaying. these remain to be one of my favorite designs in terms of simplicity and theming.
